Good news: this site keeps it simple. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not currently run third-party analytics. Here is everything the site stores in your browser, and why.
Cookies
Visitors browsing the site are not given any tracking cookies. WordPress, the software the site runs on, sets login cookies only for our own staff when they sign in to manage the site.
Browser storage
Some features save small notes in your own browser instead of on our servers. This data stays on your device and is not used to track you across other sites.
- Booking progress (session storage): keeps your answers and details while you book, so a refresh does not wipe them. It clears when you close the tab.
- Checkout safety key (session storage): stops a double tap on Pay from creating two bookings. Removed once your booking is confirmed.
- Campaign source (session storage): if you came from one of our ad or email links, remembers that tag for the visit. It clears when you close the tab.
- Sound and animation effects (session storage): counts which comic effects have played, so they do not repeat too often.
- Prep guide checklist (local storage): remembers which items you ticked so your progress is there next time. Stays until you clear your browser data.
Payment pages
When you pay a deposit, you finish on a secure checkout page run by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe sets its own cookies there for security and fraud prevention, under its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. If you block browser storage, the site still works, but booking progress and the prep guide checklist will not be remembered.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this notice and our Privacy Policy before they go live.
