Soundbar mounting
SOUNDBAR, MEET WALL.
Centered. Level. No sagging cable.
I mount soundbars under the TV as a priced add-on of $59* when I hang your TV. The soundbar is centered under the screen, set level with it, and the cable is routed cleanly. Pair it with a cord cover or in-wall cables to hide the rest. *Most standard jobs. Basic mount included. Specialty installations and additional work may cost extra. Final price confirmed before installation.
The bracket
START WITH THE BRACKET IN THE BOX.
Many soundbars come with their own wall bracket, so check the box before install day and keep every small part. I use the bracket made for your soundbar when there is one, because it is designed for that weight and shape. If yours did not come with one, mention it when you book so we can plan for it.
Some brackets hang the soundbar from the TV mount instead of the wall. That works too, if the TV mount is rated for the extra weight.
Placement
CENTERED UNDER THE SCREEN.
A soundbar should sit centered under the screen with a small gap below the TV. Close enough to look like one unit, far enough not to block the TV’s remote sensor or buttons. I measure the center off the TV, not the wall, so they line up even if the TV sits off-center on the wall.
Most soundbars connect with one HDMI cable (ARC or eARC) or an optical cable, plus power. Hide them with a wire hiding add-on.
SOUNDBAR QUESTIONS

How much does it cost to mount a soundbar?
With THE HANGMAN, mounting a soundbar under the TV is a $59* add-on to your TV install.
Should a soundbar go above or below the TV?
Below, in almost every living room. Centered under the screen with a small gap, so it does not block the TV’s remote sensor.
Do I need a special bracket?
Use the bracket that came with your soundbar if it has one. If not, mention it when you book so we can plan the right bracket for its weight and shape.
Can you hide the soundbar cables?
Yes. A paintable cord cover is $49*, or in-wall AV cables are $99* when an outlet is already behind the TV. See hide TV wires.
Can you mount just a soundbar?
The soundbar add-on is booked with a TV install. For a soundbar on its own, call 843-870-0413 and ask.
